It's finished! I've done all I can do, now the examiners are doing their thing and the private view of the exhibition is THIS FRIDAY!
Following on from Installation Part 1, the remainder of the installation process went fairly smoothly. A lot of thinking and stresses over hanging and presentation, but we got there in the end. It has been one of the most challenging and exhausting times of my life so far - both physically and mentally, but what's so wonderful about it is the support we all give each other.
Ayesha has been the most wonderful, lovely person to work with, and I'm so happy with how good our work looks together!
We've had a lot of fun putting our room together, and our helpers were brilliant with assisting in getting stuff done and giving advice.
This week we have to be around Slade in case the examiners want some clarification on our work or if they have any questions, but when Friday comes it's SHOWTIME! The alcohol and fun times will appear!
I will make sure I post at the weekend about the success of the Private View (once my hangover has cleared up) but for now I will leave you with a few pics I've snapped during the week, and I hope you come and see the exhibition! (Click HERE for info)
